God ratified covenant with Abraham 1884 BC
Finding the date God made a covenant with Abraham.
Genesis 15:13-16 – “God said unto Abram, know of a surety that thy seed shall be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; and also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance. But thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age. And in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.”
From the moment Abraham entered the covenant, there would be 400 years until his descendants return. Using the Exodus date of Saturday, April 17, 1524 BC, and adding 40 years gives the date that they “come hither again” in April of 1484 BC, the 40th anniversary of exiting Egypt and the first day that Abraham’s descendants celebrated their Passover in the Promised Land. The next step will be to subtract the prophetic 400 years from 1484 BC gives us 1884 BC.
Thus, 1884 BC would be when God and Abraham ratified the covenant that God had alluded to many years prior.
